The musical genre

Broadway Party, a band of three musicians (three singers, including one pianist and one tap dancer), performs numerous greatest songs from the history of the American Musical Theater, extremely popular in the United States and in the whole world, arranged for three voices and a piano.

Depending on the venue and the producer's request, Broadway Party's show can either remain dedicated to the history of the American Musical Theater, or take a more flexible direction.

In the event when the show sticks to the Broadway repertoire, the show is enriched by short stories and trivia told between the songs. The nature of the show becomes thus rather that of a cultural program, without losing all of its entertaining features.

In the event of piano bar ambiance, the show still starts off paying tribute to the American Musical Theater, but gradually adapts itself to the requests of the audience, sometimes even changing dramatically the musical style, which can be basically anything - Jazz, Soul, Rhythm-and-Blues, The Beatles, Rock, Disco, Bossa-Nova, French Chanson or American Pop Music...

Broadway Party's major speciality is to surprise the audience by the wide range of genres and repertoires known by heart, as well as by the easiness of instantaneous adaptation upon request.

The target audience

Foreign tourists in France are often the ideal audience for this kind of show.

When performing in public spots, the band is generally positioned in a way to be seen and heard directly from outside in order to attract tourists' attention.

However, experience shows that the French can also be sensitive to the shows offered by Broadway Party, owing to the highly spectacular features of the program, and the band's capacity to perform the interaction with the audience between the songs entirely in French.

Instruments and equipment

Broadway Party prefers to perform in venues equipped at least with an acoustic piano. In those cases, Broadway Party can take all equipment in charge (mixing table, microphones, speakers, cables, etc.)

For venues not equipped with an acoustic piano, an electric piano solution can also be envisaged.
